  1. I bought Night 2 for daughter who lives in CHicago and used my zip code and had to pick up at will call. Called ticket company and they changed name so she can pick em up.

I think anyone not in area had to do will call so you can't scalp ticket from afar.

Hey...what ticket company changed the name for you?? I'm unable to make the shows and I'm having a hard time contacting the venue. Etix said they couldn't change the name. Thanks

  2. I have 2 general admission tickets for Wednesday night in Port Chester, NY that I would like to trade for seats. I am not able to get to the venue in time to get a good, up-close spot so I'd prefer to sit for this show. If you have good seats I'd be interested in a trade. I would consider trading 1-for-1 if the seat is THAT good. I always prefer GA but it's just not in the cards this time. Thanks :)

  3. I wanted to ask if we would get a taste of the new album at SSF and how they were going to pick the requests for Friday night...but apparently I become a bumbling mute in his presence. I couldn't even answer him when he asked me why I chose Message from Mid-Bar...next time I will force myself to be brave - he's so sweet

  4. Remember Susan kind of passed the blame to spencer when she said he put it on her iPod ;)

Anybody who was there, please chime in!  I've only been home since last night and have to work, so can't do much right now.

I will say this to anyone curious about the new album, (which I'm sure is most of you), we asked, and there was NO NEWS!   Nothing!  We tried, it's too early to share.

But we did get to hear a cut from Mavis' new album which was "One True Vine" which you all know is sort of an outtake that missed, what, Sky Blue Sky?   But hearing Mavis sing it, she just owns this 100%.  Just stunning.  And the version we listened to was sans keyboards, apparently, which was (according to Jeff) Susan's fault, then (according to Susan) Jeff's fault, and then Susan's fault, and then Jeff's fault, but one thing was certain to Susan ... "Spencer sounded great."   hahaha!   I love the long-married husband/wife banter.

    That's it for now!

  5. I have a large room reserved at Maple Terrace, and i will be cancelling. It's very nice - 2 queen beds, they say its large. Pool on premisis and nice owner/operated. It is pricey (over $200 a night) and they require a 4-night stay. We stayed there last time, Holiday Inn first time. Shuttle bus stops right across the road and I recommend it.

Just putting it out there because I'm sure once I cancel it will be snatched up fast. Let me know if you are interested and we can transfer reservation and credit card to you :-)

    See you there!!

  6. I got the set list and Black Moon was the only scratch. The sound where I was, front left, was REALLY loud! I left with my ears ringing for a good long time. At first I was wishing I had brought ear plugs (haven't felt that way in years) but I settled into it and it became manageable. All in all a good solid show (as always). Although, I have to admit I was hoping for more of a Terminal 5-style setlist with lots of rarities and hardcore fan fans for the obviously die-hard crowd...I mean who else bids on a Wilco show and travels hundreds of miles for it :)

  7.

That sums it up pretty well! I couldn't be more blown away! That trio of NYC shows is something that I hope will be a precedent. Like the five they did last December in Chicago. I hope these are half as much fun for them as they are for the die-hard faithful, & I hope it continues...words fail, so I'll let the list of songs they performed do the talking...I count 63 different songs (with some performed more than once, but not that many)...let me know if I missed any, miscounted or otherwise messed up, & I'll jump in & edit & correct it... but otherwise, here, appears to be that list...

"I could spend three nights, and sixty-three songs, on a Riot 'O Rock 'n' Roll yeah, of ultimate Wilco-ness!"

I missed the incredible shrinking Chicago shows, but was lucky enough to camp out in the negative degree weather at the 2008 residency...life-altering, made great friends, the best of times! Show-runs like this should be the rule for them - the Allman Brothers do/did it every year in NYC.

  8. Sound was pretty darn good, IMHO. However, it was atrocious in NJ last Saturday. The whole experience was sub-Wilco-par, and I do not blame them one bit. Their time limit was 90 minutes, the sound sucked terribly and it was a seated event, which always leaves me wanting. Jeff didn't banter at all in order to leave as much room for songs as possible. They did pull out a few fan-favs that I'm not sure the SBC crowd fully appreciated. I walked out knowing I'd never go back to that venue again.

  9. Last night left me feeling like I had been at a mini NYC residency. Not since the Chicago residency have I experienced, IMHO, such an outstanding series of shows culminating with that gift for us die-hards @ T5! Every-other song elicited an audible "OMG" from my lips!! THANK YOU WILCO - you never let me down :))))

  10. I have a pair of GA tickets for both nights at Red Rocks. I was definitely going until they blessed us with a bunch of Northeast shows, now, it seems kind of extravagant to fly to Colorado as well. I paid $222.30 for all 4 and I have then on hand. Reply or pm me at: marigrrrl @me.com if you are interested.
