i can just imagine this!
it did sound great, too!
IFC was in full force shooting both mmj and yo la tengo! i don't know what type of package they're putting together, or when it will be on tv.
when we were all standing in line to get tickets i was interviewed by IFC. last night at the show i talked shop a little with the woman who interviewed me. she told me i made the cut! i'll be the bleary eyed woman in the orange rainjacket and homestead grays beanine.
...I was very tempted to go see this show in houston...I also needed another dose of yo la tengo...

Haven't heard back from Rob at Wilcobase, but will send him these pics to host on his flickr galleries as well.
How funny! That's my mug in your last pic of the crowd on the lower left just above your copyright.

Great shots! Highlights for me were the nudie suit, nels having way too much fun pickin' on forget the flowers, keyboard solo battles, glen freakin going off, the guitar "duel", the crowd of course, and everything before, during and after. You could tell they were really having a blast. John Doe was cool, too.

it was an amazing show as always. Hi-lite of the night was Nels' amp/guitar/chord (don't know which part actually wasn't working) during the first half of Walken. Every time they hit a break for Nels to fill, it was just silent. Everybody seemed to get a laugh out of this. When they finally got his slide guitar up and running in time for his solo, the crowd erupted. It was great.
Clay, thanks to you and Drew for making this show the best yet. Looking forward to the pix!
Cheers.
...I believe it was the cord, his amp was emitting a horrendous low frequency buzz...nels quite the comedian rubbing his slide guitar on him head, etc...that guy is from another planet...cudos to roadie...

...there were definitely 2 guys recording, although the show was being filmed, so that may be one of them...unfreakingbelievable show...

...on my way out the door right now...and yes, the guy from Stillwater got an incredible recording the last time they were here...

My 3rd time to see them playing down the street...I talked to the guy who setup mics and was recording & gave him my email to send a copy, but never heard back. If anyone has this show let me know, I will check in the trading thread also. I have good recordings of 9/22/2003 & 3/8/2008 and am looking to acquire/trade for 5/8/11 and 4/25/2005(OKC)
