For those looking for a physical copy (CD), it looks like there will be a "pre-release limited edition" CD available on June 18th per the Record Store Day website.

Will be released Spring 2018.

I didn't think I would be buying any new releases this year - but I may get this one:
Great news, I will certainly be buying this one as well. Mostly covers but I'm fine with that and look forward to hearing a new version of Wiser Time.

And its going to get even better with John Hogg on vocals. He can sing the shit out of stuff like the Faces. Eddie will be sorely missed, though. Look at the way his fingers are just dancing over the keys. He was an incredible talent all the way to the end, even with as much as he put his body through with drugs and his lifestyle.
Yes, that was really cool. I'm hoping they release some stuff as well as add some tour dates.

Bash & Pop - Anything Could Happen
Just saw this on the Rolling Stone website, will be released this month.
-
The Lyres - Love Me Til The Sun Shines (Kinks, they also covered Tired of Waiting on this Record - On Fyre - as well)
The Lyres - I Confess (I believe the original is by New Colony Six)
Ramones had a bunch of covers - California Sun, Let's Dance, Needles and Pins, Surfin' Bird - where I heard their version prior to the original.
-
Yes, thank you for posting. Gorman's tone was perfect, very nice tribute, great mix of humor and sentiment.
-
Very interesting, I'm certainly intrigued by this. I assume they will add more dates? Maybe release a record?

I could never figure out how Sugar's "The Needle Hits E" was a b-side. Much better than "Fortune Teller ".

Yes, great B-Side. "Going Home" was also a great B Side.

Wow great video. Thanks.
I can't take credit for the quality, found it on youtube. Whoever shot it did a nice job.

I saw Rich Robinson Friday Night at City Winery in Chicago. Really cool venue, superb sounding room. Rich and the band killed it all night, they played two BC songs - Good Friday and Evil Eye as well as a cover of Oh! Sweet Nuthin'!.

The same thing happened to me - maybe it's sold out already. I'm a sucker for colored vinyl.
Update: Seems to be working fine now.

Hi, do you know if the orange vinyl version exists. It is listed in the pre-order but when you pre-order what comes up is black vinyl. Does it mean orange is over or it really does not exist? Thanks

As I said to a friend of mine - odd that he choose to post that clip out of the show he did with Steve. I guess it is either as you say or he just wanted to jab Chris.
Yeah, it's hard to say what his intent was but the comment about the door being open seemed genuine to me.
At the end of the day, as jaded as this may sound, the money may be hard to pass up.
-
Sounds like Rich is leaving the door open for the Crowes getting back together.

Incidentally, Sven Pipien is playing bass on Rich's current tour.

Rich and Chris may have their issues but it appears that Rich has no issues with Marc Ford and Sven Pipien.
This would be very cool to attend, a little pricey but also a very different type of experience.

Apparently Paul Westerberg has a new band. He has teamed up with Julianna Hatfield, the band is called The I Don't Cares. A single is out (listen below) and a new record is on the way.

I've purchased several Wilco records on vinyl and while i cant remember exactly what I paid I've always thought they were very good value - 180 gram vinyl, gatefold cover, cd version tucked inside, poly inner sleeves (I immediately get rid of paper sleeves and replace with poly), and most importantly, very good pressings - nice and quiet. Just my two cents.

I don't know if it is necessarily "essential" but I really like the new Robert Plant record, I also thought the record he made with Alison Krause, Raising Sand, was excellent as well.
-
And it has 15 or 16 songs on it, a true LP! Love it.
-
I think Wildflowers is very underrated as well, a lot of great songs on that record.

Mine showed up about an hour ago, unfortunately I won't be able to listen to it until later tonight.
