  1. I'm making the drive from Dallas to St. Louis to catch the Saturday show......I too can not wait! Since this is the last show of this leg of the tour I'm hoping there will be a few surprises.

I hope to get in to the Halo Bar but may not make it in time if the line starts forming too early.....but if not....there's gotta be a few places around the venue to grab a beer....right? Also, what is the capacity of the Pageant? And finally......if one ops to sit in the seated sections, can someone recommend a good section to sit in (or are all the seats pretty good)?

  2. I did not go to ACL, but when Wilco played "Too Far Apart" in Dallas I believe Jeff played a Danelectro a la Jimmy Page. Here is a picture I took during that song, sorry it's a bit blurry. I also included a pic of Mr. Page rocking the Dragon pants and his Dano.

  3. Wow.....that was a fantastic show! I was in the front row in front of John and Pat and was blown away the whole night. The entire band seemed to have a wonderful time, the venue was nice, and the crowd was great in my opinion. All the surprises have been mentioned already so I won't repeat them. Jeff did mention Glen's new drumset. Or as he put it "Wonder Woman's drumset". Below is a picture of it. During Misunderstood Jeff may have said "nothing" 30+ times, it seemed to go on for awhile and I lost track. Even though Box Full of Letters was omitted from the set, the guitar from the video made it to the stage and was plugged in. A roadie yelled something to the Jeff's guitar tech, and he changed it out. At least I saw the guitar. Along with the Wonder Woman drumset photo, here are a few other pics from the show.

  4. 04/25/2005 - OKC, OK

I was a Wilco fan from AM to ST and became a fanatic at YHF. I am still at the fanatic stage, and from what I can tell I'll be that way for some time.

I drove from Dallas to OKC the day of show so I got to the venue early. To my surprise Wilco was doing their sound check. I was able to stand near an open garage door where bands load and unload equipment. I could hear the sound check perfectly and could see the band. I heard them play ELT and Radio Cure. That alone was worth the drive.

As far as the show went, it was all I imagined it would be times 10. It was a GA show so I was in the front row in front of Nels. My favorite part of the set was when Poor Places segued in to Less Than You Think which then drove right in to Spiders. That was incredible. Then Encore 2 was all BT....Misunderstood, Monday and Outtasite (Outta Mind). Another great trio of songs!

After the show I went to where the buses were parked and got to meet Jeff. The perfect way to end the perfect night.
