  1. Really surprised these weren't will call only. Especially in a market like NYC....

I believe "willcall only" is illegal in New York State.  By law, the promoters/venues must provide hardstock tickets in advance of show.

  2. Center Balcony (Balc 12), Row K. Night 1 at the Ryman (Oct 21st).

Plans changed...can't make the trip. Just want my money back - $133). Longtime board member...not a scalper, etc.

These are e-tix that I can email and I can also forward email receipt from TicketMaster for proof of legitimacy.

  3. My bro and I both went for tickets on TicketMaster this morning, and both managed to snag a pair, but it's just the two of us flying in, so...I've got an extra pair. Orchestra Left Row Z3...two seats off the aisle. Face value was $125.80. I'll ship them to you for free, but won't actually get them until mid-January. karlhoufek@hotmail.com Just to be clear...this is for the Friday night show at the Los Angeles Theatre. Cool.

  4. I've got three tix in the actual third row (CC) that I'm not going to be able to use. I know you're looking for only two, but I don't want to get left holding a single. If you can find a third person who wants to go, I'd be happy to sell you (or anyone else who's looking) all three tickets at face ($125.75), plus shipping ($2).

  5. That's simply one of the sections at the Boulder Theatre. 2011 is the theatre's 75th anniversary. So they deemed the front "A" section the "Silver Anniversary" section and made the tickets cost more. That's about it. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Jeff Tweedy, other than he's the one kicking off the 2011 year of shows for them.

  6. What do you mean with the scalper and UPS?

he's just pointing out that there was a shipping option, meaning they are actual tickets that are sent out, as opposed to willcall only, where you show your credit card and pick them up at the show. Doing it that way at least gives the scalpers a few more hoops to jump through, whereas sending out the tickets via UPS gives them NO hoops to jump through.

  7. hey we sent the money to your e mail through paypal. thanks again!

Thanks guys! They're in the mail! It's nice to have a post office 2 blocks from my house. I skateboarded there! Have fun at the show!

  8. We will take the two. My girlfriend has your email and will send paypal as soon as she gets home!

    Thanks for helping her out!

Cool. I'll let you know when I've put the tickets in the mail. Should be today as long as she gets home in the next hour or so.

  9. I've got to Balcony LEFT reserved seats. Row B. You have to be 21+ for these, as there is alcohol served in the balcony. I'll take whatever I can get for them...and I'll probably have to overnight them. Hoping to get maybe $40? ***THESE HAVE BEEN SOLD***

    Thanks!

  10. I sucked it up and bought a ticket from Stubhub. Prices there seem the best.

I don't blame you. $100 (or so) per ticket for a chance to see Wilco at a venue that only holds 1200 people isn't that bad. Sure, it would be nice to get them at face value...but face-value tickets seem like a fantasy these days.

  11. So much for presale. Those were gone within a minute or two.

Keep trying. I guarantee there will be more in a minute or two. There's a couple dozen people that won't buy these because they're willcall only....eventually their carts (tickets) will be automatically emptied back into the system. If you keep trying, you WILL get a pair. Guaranteed. Just don't give up.
