  2. This was a wonderful show! Great crowd, beautiful setting and the band seemed to really enjoy themselves.

At one point, the band took turns emulating the sound of the ferry horn. Another nice moment: during "The Late Greats", a ferry pulled out of the harbor and the entire top deck was lined with people dancing to the song.

Number of "nothings" during Misunderstood: 44

I'm kind of a short guy and it was difficult to see at times but the lone taper allowed me to share his space (if you're here and you read this...thanks!) which made it much more enjoyable for me. He told me he should have the show up on BT.Etree within a day or two. Can't wait to listen again!

yep that was me, we both got 44 lol. I got to go to work here at 12 going to track when I get home. Thanks for the cokes and watching my stuff

  3. Apparently, the tunes that got the most response from the crowd were 3 tracks off the new album.

I think its great the crowd also knows and loves his new stuff, there not just there for a best of Dylan show.

Well he is mixing up the 1st 13 a lot more then he used to... People want to here songs like Rolling Stone and Watchtower so he plays them. I mean people are paying $50+ to see him, they want to see the classics live.

Considering the fact that the last three songs appear to be ...

    14. Thunder On The Mountain

    15. Like A Rolling Stone

    16. All Along The Watchtower

... for every show, my answer would be "not really."

Give it up he is mixing up the 1st 13 a lot more then he used to. Look people are paying good money to see him and they want to see Rolling Stone and Watchtower so he plays them.

I saw him back in November 14, 2001

Love the recordings from that tour, the acoustic stuff is great.

  4. The new one? It is good. Simple as that....(it may not be a 5 star album like RS gave it, perhaps only 4.5.)

Unfortunately everything Dylan has ever done is compared to his all-star run in the 60s and he simply can't get away from that.

I don't know who is more of an old curmudgeon, me or A-man, but it stands up just fine next to the vast majority of indie rock released by the boatload these days. Dylan can still turn a phrase, both lyrically and vocally, compared to artists half his age. And it is head and shoulders above just about everything made by Dylan's contemporaries .
