The Fox is definitely a tricky venue when it comes to sound.  I have always had the best luck when seated in the first 5 rows of the loge.  Unfortunately, being up there puts you on the frontline in the battle of "Sitters vs. Standers"

Here is a video of Nels sitting in with the Brothers & Col. Bruce Hampton last night during Smokestack Lightning.  A buddy of mine who was up there also mentioned that Nels sat in for a few songs during Col. Bruce's show after the brothers.  He apparently tore apart Fixing to Die.  Sounds like Nels was playing Duane's gold top LP for at least one song with the Col.

Did Jeff ask you guys to sing Jesus,etc.? I'm really curious because he was so into doing that at the previous three shows, but this was a very different crowd, I gather.

"Jesus, Etc" wasn't a singalong, although Jeff did ask us to join in if we wanted to.

* after song Jeff says "take that Norah". during Norah's set she says there is a feud between Wilco and Her. She was wanting to play Jesus etc. but the band played it earlier. She decides to play it anyway and says "Take that Jeff". Cool to see the song played twice. Also, the whole band, minus Jeff, was out for Comes A Time to close out the show. I thought it was odd that Jeff was not on stage. Anyway, Wilco sounded great, and Nels sounded fantastic on the acoustic!!! I apologize for the bad review and am sure I am missing a song or two.

I have also been hoping for this show to pop up somewhere... It was my brothers first solo Tweedy and I know he would love to have it.
