hi everybody,
just a little thing that happend to me this morning. As i was sitting in my office i heard the DJ of our national radio 3 (we got 3 nationwide stations here) say (of course in swiss german): "And now we have something very special for you. A little teaser for our series called "concert summer". Tonights featured band is called wilco, we gonna hear a concert from glastonbury 1999, from 9 to 10 pm. And now for you to know how they sound, this is wilco with I can't stand it."
I have never heard wilco on the radio in switzerland before! This is a huge moment for swiss wilco fans
Maby no big deal for anyone else here, but for me it's like WOW!

whats the zurich venue like? whats zurich like in November
the venue is pretty cool, about 1500-1800 capacity, very good acoustics and in the middle of the city. Well to be honest, november istn't the best month to see zurich, the weather can get pretty moody this time a year. When it's nice weather it's absolutly beautiful and on a clear day you can see the mountains etc, when it's raining it's just grey and old, but in general i would say it's worth a trip in november (october is much much worse!).

yes the volkshaus is mixed standing/seating. The Balcony is the seating area and the groundfloor is all standing. The capacity is about 1500-1800 i think. It's a very nice place with good acoustics, i really like to see shows there. Would be very nice to see some VC's there!

Hi everybody,
i would totally pick zurich (well because i live there, 5 minutes from the venue) and milano (because it's a beautiful venue and italy is always great). If some of you come to zurich we all could meet before the concert, there's a lot of great bars right next to the venue . some friends and i will be at the zurich and milano concerts, 2 times wilco in 3 days, what a week
