I was at this event and there are only two things I remember from that entire weekend:

1. Being introduced to Wilco (wanted to remember their name so I did the ol' word association game by thinking about FILCO appliance stores).

2. Learning you could mix Margaritas using a modified lawn-mower blender (Margarita lawn-mower guy is how he's tagged in my memory).

Good times.....good times indeed.

This is a really great show and is available / coupled with an equally great show over at The DVD Project site (Volume 02).

i've never known anyone who actively disliked wilco, but i've had people that were/are very resistant to ever listening to wilco because they "don't listen to emo".

Maybe it's because I'm on the west coast, but I've only come across two people who didn't respond "Wil-who?" (or "Falco?") when the subject came up.

Wilco will be on Austin City Limits in a few weeks. Not sure that's been mentioned yet. Here's a link - Austin City Limits Looks like it'll be a full hour this time. If someone could possibly record this for me, I'd be grateful. I'll probably forget to do it myself.

I'll be recording it using good ol' VHS, but we use rabbit ears as well (chucked the dish cable when N8's paranoia was in full swing). If no one provides a copy, you know I'd be happy to send mine your way.

btw this dvd could be the best music movie i've ever seen.

Couldn't agree more. My husband and I fell even more in love with Wilco after we watched this film (it's pretty awesome when you & your significant other are completely on the same page about something).

The technical page of his web site provides some good information about his solo kit (scroll down) and his Wilco kit.
