  1. I have only watched the DVD once, but I seem to recall shots both of Lincoln Park on the N. Side, and shots of Grant Park. Pretty sure that the statue of Lincoln (wasn't that shown) is in Grant Park.

  2. btw: what happened to all the blackhawks fans? they are 28th out of the 30 teams in attendance and only average 12,771 fans. do they play their home games in a shoe box? is 12,000 a sell out? their draw is a little surprising to me in a city that size.

The Wirtz family has driven the fan base away. Despite putting a crappy product on the ice, ticket prices have gone up. Plus the Blackhawks are almost never on local tv, so the team has very little visibility. Sad for an Original 6.

I would love to see a realingment bringing back old conference and division names, e.g. the Norris, Smythe, etc.

  3. great lyrics, but i've just never gotten all the love for this song i guess...

the melody doesn't do a lot for me :ohwell

I used to feel this way until I saw Jeff at The Vic March 4, 2005. Completely changed my view.

  4. What you once were isn't what you want to be anymore.

It's become so obvious that you are so oblivious to yourself.

One summer, a suicide. Another autumn, a traveler's guide. He hits snooze twice before he dies.

If it's just your heart talking, I'll listen every time --

Dear, you can talk my ear off, anytime, anytime --

But if my mind starts wandering, it won't be gone long --

    Whenever I hear your heart talking, it's a song, it's a song

  5. Not quite a year. Jeff played the infamous Abbey show at the end of January, and the whole band played the Auditorium in November.

Having lived in Chicago for the past 8 years, I know that it always feels like forever between shows there, but on the whole, I would say that Chicago certainly gets its share of Wilco/Tweedy shows.
