You lost me there, I don't get what I'm supposed to be looking for. Plus I have no way/idea how to decode flac/shn whatever.
No big deal, I was just curious to hear it. I do appreciate the response though, sorry I am download challenged, lol.

The first has the lyric:
"I'll die, I'll die, I'll die, like Jesus all alone"
The second starts: "I was on my way home!"
The third song's lyrics are very hard to make out, but it includes something about the snow falling.
Any idea's? I assume one of them is called "One Wing"

They played it 12 times, I'll be danged. Does anyone have a live version of this as a mp3 so I can hear it? Do they jam it out?

I don't know if this counts or not, but the Wilco "I am trying to break your heart" DVD contains two solo Tweedy songs never released on CD, (or anywhere else for that matter). I would consider these non LP songs.
"Whispery Kiss" - A short piece of Jeff playing this backstage is on disc one.
"Monkey Mess" - Jeff plays a recorded complete version of this on a boombox (and sings along) on disc two.
Both of these are written by Jeff Tweedy according to the film credits.

What sucks for us non torrent folks who want everything is that at least 30 tracks listed above were only released as either regional radio station compilations, radio promo discs, or downloads that are no longer active, (32 to be exact by my count).
7 CD singles provide 15 more.
The Chelsea Walls soundtrack provides 2 more.
The YHF, Ghost, SBS, and Mermaid bonus E.P.'s give us 18 more (I didn't count "My Thirty Thousand or Bugeyed Jim").
And finally there are 13 more tracks that are available on 13 different compilations of some sort.
No wonder people download these.
72 tracks, a box set is definitely needed.
Plus, that doesn't even mention the five unreleased tracks I know of (Busy Bee Monkey Mess, Gone, Let's Hear It For Rock, Lets Fight, Millonaire), or the unreleased songs from the YHF demo.

Yeah, usually that stuff is only available with purchase after a new CD comes out, but eventually they seem to post everything up for free.
I just burned it, and the Sunken treasure bonus. I own the Sky Blue CD and Sunken DVD, and it is great to have these too. Thank you SO Much for the help.

Those are all zip files. Do you have a file to extract those? WinZip or WinRAR or something? Or is it not downloading as a zip file?
I figured it out before I saw the above posts, I didn't realize they were compressed files and I needed to unzip them.
Whew, I'm not a idiot after all!
Is the roadcase subscription free to everyone then, so anybody can access the bonus e.p.'s?

I must be a idiot. I signed up for the roadcase, and hit download on the SBS e.p., but it downloads as some weird file and won't open.
Sigh.

I inserted my SBS disc and clicked on the movie, and it told me I need to enable flash and gave directions on how to do so. However, the directions must be for an older version of quicktime, because the directions do not match my version (Quicktime 7). Anybody know how to enable flash in the new Quicktime player? Thanks!

"

I say yes, as long as you're not selling them on eBay or something. Since you are asking the question, I'm sure you are not. Pretty much everybody here downloads live material.

Somebody here is going to disagree with me but if you've bought AM, then I don't think personally there is any problem downloading the AM demos. And I think Jeff would agree, although he might not be crazy about demos circulating in the first place.

You probably won't get a straight/definitive answer here.
I don't speak for Wilco. However, in my opinion, Wilco wouldn't mind if somebody who buys all the commercial releases downloads new, unreleased material. Their actions in the past have suggested that.

I saw mp3's of the two new songs, as well as the Colbert Song, Lets Fight and others. Is it okay to download these?
I am actually saving my moola to buy the cd singles I am missing rather than steal them, so I am not into stealing commercial releases. Does Wilco advocate downloading non commercial stuff. I have bought all of their albums already........

Pretty standard rocker. I was much more taken with "Impossible Germany" & "Walkin'", my first time hearing these two songs.........

They played great, especially Niles & Kotche, but the mix was horrible. Actually it was great except for two things........
Tweedy's vocals were pretty distorted for awhile. They finally fixed it after "Company In My Back".

and it kept getting louder. They never fixed this at all.
When the band played quietly, it was great. When they rocked out Sansone's keyboard & Tweedy's vocals overpowered everything else. :mad:
Nels seemed far more comfortable tonight playing the old stuff, and his solo on Via Chicago was amazing........
Further weirdness:
They started "Walkin'" (GREAT song!) and 1/2 through it, Tweedy stops the band, and tells the crowd that even though it was the tour opener they can play it better than that, so they start from the top.
Even further weirdness/awkwardness:
Tweedy was crying throughout the show, not continously, but in intervals. Right before "Heavy Metal Drummer" he told us his Mom died a few days ago, and he didn't want to be there (quite understandable), but thanked us for being there & said that she would have wanted him to play.
He apologized for crying, and said something to the effect of that "now that I've made you sad, let's shake our booties!".
They busted into Heavy Metal Drummer with tons of energy.
Weird juxtaposition of emotions in a 30 second time frame.
I talked to all of them except Jeff after the show. He walked past us, but everyone left him alone and he left immediately. I had met everyone in the band before except Glenn Kotche, so I was pleased to meet him last night, nice guy. I talked guitar stuff with Nels for maybe 20 minutes.
