  1. i thought dave z had it in the back pocket...for like a minute. oh well. good finishes for hincapie and vino as well.

    cancellara owned today.

    on to stage 1.

I wish I knew what was going on. My local newspaper hasn't been keeping up on it this year. Last year they had an article on it everyday and this year they barely have mentioned anything about it :hmm

  2. They were just in Indy a few weeks ago, so that's probably too soon to go again.

What I meant was, if they are in Louisville, then they're in the vicinity of Indiana. So, hey Wilco! Head on north to Fort Wayne! Fort Wayne loves you!!! The Embassy is a beautiful place for a Wilco show!

(We've been over that before, though. They know we want them to come.)

Seriously, though - I keep hoping for the little grass roots "Bring Wilco To Fort Wayne" project to pay off one of these days, if not that one. That is a sweet date, though - a Saturday night. You all could come if was on a Saturday night, right? :lol All you people who live in Chicago, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Indianapolis, Columbus, Cleveland, Cinci, Bloomington, Lafayette, South Bend, Toledo, Detroit, Grand Rapids ... all close by and so easy because it's a Saturday night road trip! We've got 2400 seats. :D

MAN..your not fucking around..a whole website dedicated to bringing Wilco to Ft Wayne. ...Hopefully they see it...I've never been to the Embassy..just the Coliseum, but I do agree with you that it is a good location... I was just up there for tool and loved it! :thumbup

  3. I was wondering the same thing. They must be something special cause that offset head is a fantastic amp.Only 500 made I think.I'll look aroud, might take a minute.

Also Glenn is using a different snare. One of those clear plastic deals, like the old vistalites.

The only thing that came to me was Stephenson amps................? I have no idea.

I think Glen was using a Matchless amplifier....Nels might have too... I'm not really sure because I was up in the balcony at the Indy show.

They are like 3 grand but are suppose to have the Marshall Distortion with the fender clean

  4. Soundboy, thanks again.

Strange thing happened...I went to download the new torrent, but I still had the old torrent in my DL queue...and within about 3 minutes, the old torrent finished downloading. I'm listening now...sounds wonderful!

If anyone who was stuck at 99.9% on the FLAC torrent needs me to re-open it, just PM me. I'll keep it open until about 3 tonight.

I'm new to this whole torrent downloading...I use Transmission and downloaded the torrent however all the files were saved as .shn ?? Am I doing this correctly?

  5. The Murat is notorious for having boomy, bassy acoustics in spots throughout the room ( I overheard complaints from some after the show about this), but I was lucky enough to have DFC 1st row balcony seats & from that vantage point it sounded great. As good as I've ever heard the Murat sound.

The sound was pretty good however I thought Jeff's voice was a little low in the mix...Some songs you couldn't really hear him, but it could have been where I was sitting. I do agree with 100% on the crowd intensity and energy...It was such a great crowd and it was fun to watch the band feed off the crowd's energy. (vice versa) :thumbup

  6. I was wondering why they didn't play What Light, considering it's on the radio and things, but that's kinda cool that they replaced it!! i thought the guys sounded great, and their energy was awesome. They were having so much fun! you could totally tell they were enjoying themselves.. and that stupid macrame (sp) owl!!! haha

Jeff Mentioned something about those last two songs being requests...

Anywho..Great show..Got to meat the band afterwards..Nice guys..I would consider my first Wilco show a Success :thumbup

    Jeff's Hummingbird dance was hilarious!
