I'm a 17 year old high school student from Springfield, Missouri. One of my close friends, by the name of Brooke Fletcher, was in major car accident on Thanksgiving. The accident has left her paralyzed from the collar bone down. She's only 17 as well and this is a heart breaking tragedy. I've been organizing a benefit concert with all the money going to her family. Her medical bills are going to be astronomical. 3 surgeries, 2 MRIs, 9 days in ICU, and 4 weeks of physical therapy, as well as the costs of remodeling their house is going to be more than overwhelming. I'm really wondering if any member of Wilco would be able to play for this concert..They didn't have a very fun time the last time they were in Springfield...in fact, Jeff cussed out this drunk guy that was pushing my brother and me, but I'm really in need of someone that can bring a big crowd. I've been trying to cut corners every way I can to make it so her family gets nearly, if not all, of the money made. One person I've been trying to get ahold of but can't seemed to reach is Scott McCaughey, who is a friend of my dad. If anyone can help me the slightest bit, I'd appreciate it. Hey! This is me!

It was for a high school battle of the bands. I actually arranged the horn parts and all. There's 11 people playing and I'm doing guitar and singing. We actually lost to an emo band but it was a good run.
