Dick: I guess it looks as if you're reorganizing your records. What is this though? Chronological?
Rob: No...
Dick: Not alphabetical...
Rob: Nope...
Dick: What?
Rob: Autobiographical.
Dick: No fucking way.

Didn't Edward Norton, Jr.'s father (um, I guess that'd be Edward Norton, Sr.) have a hand in designing that community? Amazing the random crap that can stick in the brain sometimes.
It's his Grandfather (on his mom's side)
I live here, I have to know this stuff, as it's about hte most interesting thing that Columbia was ever been associated with.

FYI - Columbia, MD is the world's most sterile town in America. You'll see. It was designed that way. I call it the "Biggest Industrial Park in the World"
As far as cool places to go, I would say that the mall is your best bet unless you want to drive from the bar to Merriweather. If you don't mind driving, I would have to say the best bar in Columbia is Nottingham's. It's not too far.
According to the people who live here, I just work here, you can:
Go to the Champs bar in the mall. Very close and is walking distance.
Clydes, short drive
Sonoma (seafood) 2 minute ride.
p.s. Columbia is in Howard county. No smoking in bars anymore.
It's so true.
I went to the soundcheck, and me and my friend went to the mall, and when we got bored with that, we still had an hour until gates opened. doh! ....and the worst part is that we live in Columbia, and should've known that.

I was there. I actually won free tickets and tickets to the sound check from WTMD (good radio station, check them out). What a great show. The person I went with was somewhat new to Wilco, and the expersion on her face during "Via Chicago" was priceless.
For my first time seeing Wilco live, I was blown away. The only bad thing about the evening was getting stuck in the rain, and in retrospect that wasn't even that bad.
btw. can anybody upload the show onto a site such as megaupload, sendspace, mediafire, etc. for those whose computers "have issues" with torrent programs. (long story that I would prefer not to repeat) That would be amazing.

I am Cow, hear me moo
I weigh twice as much as you
And I look good on the barbecue
Yogurt, curd, cream cheese and butter's
Made from liquid from my udders
I am Cow, I am Cow, Hear me moo (moo)
I am Cow, eating grass
Methane gas comes out my ass
And out my muzzle when I belch
Oh, the ozone layer is thinner
From the outcome of my dinner
I am Cow, I am Cow, I've got gas
I am Cow, here I stand
Far and wide upon this land
And I am living everywhere
From B.C. to Newfoundland
You can squeeze my teats by hand
I am Cow, I am Cow, I am Cow
I am Cow, I am Cow, I am Cow!

thank you

I left my camera on the charger that night....I was so mad, especially when we were fron-row center for the soundcheck....uggh. The person I went with brought her camera, but it didn't have a great zoom (so we quickly gave up on trying to take photots, and instead decided to enjoy the music). I'll post the photo's she took, once she sends them to me.
Awesome. I think I know what I'm going to be doing for the next half-hour.
