yeah, i was lucky but i got all the tickets i wanted. The White Stripes sell out was ridiculous, but that is a steal of a show for $40. I have never seen a sell out as fast either.

I didn't realize Yo La Tengo is playing Monday, maybe I will go to that if I'm not tired. I don't know how 4 nights plus the festival is going to be ...

Well, I hope they end up playing sometime ACL weekend besides the festival on sunday, but it is seems highly unlikely, so I went ahead and bought tickets to their dallas show friday night.

So far my ACL weekend looks like Spoon Thursday night, Wilco Friday night in Dallas, Queens of the Stone Age Saturday, and the White Stripes Sunday night.

I sure about nothing. But I'd be flabbergasted if this weren't the case (do kids still use that word, 'flabbergasted?'). They had aftershows at Stubb's every other year they played at the Festival except the first year, which was a preshow at the Parish. I won't complain if they opt for the Parish this time around, but I'm not holding my breath.

 

Can't wait for the stripey ones on Sunday night, either. Now if only Arcade Fire can squeeze one in on Friday, I'll be a happy hombre.

I'm hoping for a show by my morning jacket as well.

September 15 will be an ACL Fest aftershow at Stubb's...

You sure about this? I haven't found any indication that they are playing an aftershow this year, but if they are I will be seeing them saturday night and the white stripes sunday night at stubbs!

This is definitely one of their better setlists, I would've loved to have been at this show.

The setlists on the current tour seem shorter.

What are the venues I should be checking out in Austin at night? Other than Stubb's? Want to be sure that I am prepared for the night shows and don't miss tix going on sale.

Whoever made the ACL schedule must not know a thing about music, they did this same bull shit last year, and so now I'm thinking of just going to Sunday and aftershows.

I think Pot Kettle Black is one of wilco's best songs off of YHF and probably one of my personal top 10 wilco songs, I would love to hear them play it live on their current tour.
