  1. Probably the best Wilco show I've ever seen. The band had so much fun while playing. I can't wait for tomorrow night.

    Here is the setlist:

    Sunken Treasure (acoustic)

    You Are My Face

    Remember the Mountain Bed

    Company in my Back

    Handshake Drugs

    Pick Up the Change

    Hummingbird

    On and On and On

    Pot Kettle Black

    A Shot in the Arm

    Summerteeth

    Jesus, etc.

    Impossible Germany

    It's Just that Simple

    That's Not the Issue

    Walken

I'm the Man Who Loves You

    Encore 1

    Misunderstood

    Poor Places

    Reservations

    Spiders

    Encore 2

    Hate it Here

    Heavy Metal Drummer

    Casino Queen

    Hoodoo Voodoo

    Outtasite (Outta Mind)

  2. yeah, i was lucky but i got all the tickets i wanted. The White Stripes sell out was ridiculous, but that is a steal of a show for $40. I have never seen a sell out as fast either.

I didn't realize Yo La Tengo is playing Monday, maybe I will go to that if I'm not tired. I don't know how 4 nights plus the festival is going to be ...

  3. Well, I hope they end up playing sometime ACL weekend besides the festival on sunday, but it is seems highly unlikely, so I went ahead and bought tickets to their dallas show friday night.

So far my ACL weekend looks like Spoon Thursday night, Wilco Friday night in Dallas, Queens of the Stone Age Saturday, and the White Stripes Sunday night.

  4. I sure about nothing. But I'd be flabbergasted if this weren't the case (do kids still use that word, 'flabbergasted?'). They had aftershows at Stubb's every other year they played at the Festival except the first year, which was a preshow at the Parish. I won't complain if they opt for the Parish this time around, but I'm not holding my breath.

Can't wait for the stripey ones on Sunday night, either. Now if only Arcade Fire can squeeze one in on Friday, I'll be a happy hombre.

I'm hoping for a show by my morning jacket as well.

  5. What are the venues I should be checking out in Austin at night? Other than Stubb's? Want to be sure that I am prepared for the night shows and don't miss tix going on sale.

Main Austin Venues: Emo's, Stubb's, La Zona Rosa, Antone's, The Parish.

Whoever made the ACL schedule must not know a thing about music, they did this same bull shit last year, and so now I'm thinking of just going to Sunday and aftershows.

  6. Both YHF and AGIB are Enhanced CDs and I was able to listen to all the tracks over the internet, so the links from Wilcoworld are still working perfectly. Try reconfiguring your settings in quicktime.
