I will eat my hat if 'Just a Kid' is a hidden track on SBS. So unlikely, I just doubt it through and through.
I've wondered just what kind of hat that might be...
The FLAC is in that pink place now...downloading it as we speak. And, no, it does not have a 13th track...and the poster is at a loss on that point. So, since I mentioned the last leak with Just a Kid, I thought I'd give the update that the current latest leak of the moment does not have it.
I wish Azureus would hop along a bit faster.

yes, it seems identical to spongebob's too...someone somewhere is chuckling in a loft tonight...

maybe I'm just a kid....ah, spongebob...

71.07 MB
a piglet squealed:
a 124 Mb (mp3 320) seems to be arriving...with promise of FLAC in short order...
and with a 13th "hidden" and unknown track...
(drone? something more?)

Winamp plays FLACs.
FLACs are a lossless audio format, somewhat smaller in size than WAV. The best thing to do with them is to decompress them to WAVs. In Windows, do that using something called the FLAC Frontend (Google it). If you're on a Mac, I'm not sure what you'd use.
Once you have WAVs, obviously you can burn CDs. You can also use any number of programs to produce MP3s from those WAVs. Or, rip the CD you just burned.
For FLAC info, see here.
And for Mac folks, you might want to check out xACT for Mac OS X for the conversions:

If you're using a Mac, iTunify can set those counts to whatever you like.

Hi all,
I shared the stream some when it happened, but I've never been introduced to any pig...anyone have a favor they could share? I'd like to get to know...
Oh, I placed my pre-order last night too...like a good Wilco fan.

I'm going to go home and see if I can get the wife to divorce me so I can truely appreciate Hate it Here.
I'm pretty sure my wife is questioning just why I enjoy Hate It Here so much...

Lennon got shot. He died.
Therefore, he is not God.
unless, of course, Lennon then ascended into heaven...
The "[insert guitarist here] is God" bit is a Clapton thing, comes from London graffiti in the 60s.

So, did anyone else notice that the stream lists the title as
Walkin'
while the web site lists it as
Walken
Does that mean they still don't know?

So I have less than 8 hours to download a free stream audio capturing prog, learn to
use and PRAY for a decent stream via my connection.
not only are my evening plans changed but appears I have some work to do this afternoon.
anyone rec'md a program to capture audio feed?
For the Mac, I've used Audio Hijack Pro on previous Wilco streams w/o problem. It's not free though, just cheap.

There is a free version, just don't remember the feature set.
Good luck.

Actually, having lived here since 76 (and I was born in Texas), the problem with Austin is the folks, my father would call them "yankees", who've moved here only to adopt "texanisms" they've learned from TV and movies...
That aside, hope y'all can make it down for the show...
