Hi all, here finally are my Portland pics. We just got home from "Wilco the Vacation" saw 4 shows and took pics at 3 of them. Portland was challenging dt large AMP in my face but hope you like my not so prfessional photos. The subject of them was so cool, my lack of skill was tolerable

You did a great job recording this show. I've been listening this afternoon and it sounds even better than I had expected! Man, it jumps me every time when that ferry horn kicks in on Jesus, etc. Listen for the smile in Jeff's voice directly after.

This was a wonderful show! Great crowd, beautiful setting and the band seemed to really enjoy themselves.

At one point, the band took turns emulating the sound of the ferry horn. Another nice moment: during "The Late Greats", a ferry pulled out of the harbor and the entire top deck was lined with people dancing to the song.

I'm kind of a short guy and it was difficult to see at times but the lone taper allowed me to share his space (if you're here and you read this...thanks!) which made it much more enjoyable for me. He told me he should have the show up on BT.Etree within a day or two. Can't wait to listen again!

I enjoyed reading that interview- thank you for posting the link! Now, I'm really looking forward to seeing the film tonight. I have a feeling it will be one of those DVDs that I return to frequently.

It breaks my heart to part with this ticket but I have an elderly cat who is not doing well and kenneling her for a weekend is not an option right now.

I saw that u2 show as well..... Last show I saw in Worchester was the Amused to Death Roger Waters tour.......

I think they did two shows there back to back. I attended the "Ever Peaceful" show. If you attended this one, you'll remember the little boy sitting on his Dad's shoulders. Bono threw the mic out to Dad and then asked him the little boy's name. The man said "Ever Peaceful" which prompted Bono to bring them up on stage and give the little boy his hat. It was a cool moment and a great show!

Finally, the Worcester show is official. Music Today presale begins this Tuesday 9/23 and the public onsale is Thursday 9/25.

The last time I saw a concert in Worcester, it was....U2 in April, 1985. Holy crap! I can't believe it's been 23 years.

I am really looking forward to this.

I've been listening to this special performance for the last week or so and I truly appreciate everyone involved who made it happen. As much fun as the torrent is, I can only imagine what it must have been like to have been there. Again, many thanks for getting this up and available!

My pre-ordered CD/DVD of SBS has crackly jumpy sound on the DVD. My wife bought me another copy from a local store, and the sound on this copy has the same poor quality.

 

Anyone else have this problem, or is it just bad fortune I got two duff copies?

Mine sounds great! I watched it again last night for the third time. No crackly, jumpy sound on mine. Are you having any problems with other DVDs or just this one?
