i agree, we couldnt even have cameras at the vic shows... I dont see this being released atleast until Wilco retrospective time, maybe with the kicking TV dvds... the band does record every show, but i think this would be tough to release because it would have to be realeased in its entirety almost to cover every song but there wereso many doubles. Are we expecting a 100 or so song compliation of the 5 nights? i could see that more than anything but still probably not. I hope they dont do that lame dave matthews bullshit and release endless live albums, i think KT rocks and these shows were great, if you didnt get to witness it - oh well, theres still half decent recordings, we dont need a cluttered wilco-verse of recordings, thats a slippery slope, as good as this band is live..

I find it hard to believe that they would have allowed tapers to tape if they were recording the shows in order to put them out as product.

why's that? audience recordings don't deter official release sales in the slightest. their liberal approach to taping sort of 'accepts' that anyway.

Any thoughts on what time the boys will come on?

for the record - i just called merriweather and got a bubbly girl on the phone who told me the event start time is actually 7:30 - she said the tix were printed when it was intended to go off at 6:30...but low does not start til at least 7:30...

i'm going tonight too....merriweather has a pretty hardcore police presence and i believe their curfew for shows is 11p sharp. i doubt low goes on at 6:30 though.

7:30p wilco on at 8:45, 90 minute show, then 20+ minutes of encores should end it before 11...
