Does anyone know if the bar/building featured in the season finale of Better Call Saul is the one pictured on Wilco (the album)?

I can't believe this show is general admission. I've never been to the Fillmore - is there seating? My wife is disabled and there's no way she can stand for an entire concert.

On top of that, I went home this morning from work to purchase these tickets at 10 EST, the time listed on Wilco's 'shows' page. They went on sale at 10 CST. I missed an extra hour of work that I now have to make up.

The picture of Howe (4th one down) looks like an older version of Billy Bob Thornton.

I'd say check Craigslist closer to the show date. I've gotten face value or cheaper tickets by doing that. Don't go the ebay route yet. If they're still available closer to the show, they'll be cheaper.

Agreed. During the week prior to the Lansing show I was checking Craigslist all of the time - and I mean all of time. I'd refresh at least every half hour. Got two tickets at face value.

awright...picture it like this:

 

you're some sap that works for the editing firm that puts together programming montages for said golf channel. now, you are a sap, but you not as much as a sap because you really dig wilco and you want to put one of their songs into some of your work, so you do.

 

now, some other sap watches said golf channel and witnesses this and thinks that wilco is in it's decadence b/c their music is heard in an unknown/"unworthy" context (the golf channel). when really that has happened is some fan is showing his appreciation for wilco.

 

that's how i see it anyway.

I just happen to be the 'sap' that heard the song and I'd like to make one thing clear. I was thrilled to hear the song. I'm thrilled to hear their songs on VW commercials. In no way did I imply that I thought the band was in 'decadence' because I heard a song on the golf channel. In fact, I think I wrote that it was 'pretty cool'.

I'm sitting around watching the Nationwide tour on the Golf Channel and as they're showing all of the day's scores,

'Leave Me (Like You Found Me)' is playing in the background. Pretty cool.

Recording anyone? anyone? Bueller? Bueller....

Doesn't look like it. I've checked Dime-a-Dozen and etree.org every day since the show and nothing. It seems that it's one of the few shows not to be recorded for the SBS tour.

My wife was watching the WeatherChannel last night (6/24) and the guy doing the forecast mentioned the weather in relationship to Wilco's show in NYC tonight. That was pretty unusual but very cool.

The Iowa show from 6/13 is now available to download. There's still hope for the Cincy show!

A handful of shows since Cincy have popped up on Dime-A-Dozen and etree and I'm starting to doubt if this one was recorded. I sure hope I'm wrong, though. Keep your fingers crossed.

Didn't the singer mention something about the bass player's birthday?
