  1. My only disappointment was the number of repeated songs from the night before. C'mon guys, you have a huge catalogue, why even repeat a single song, much less the majority of the night before?

    Thats my only complaint.

They have to know that so many people went to both nights and it was really a buzzkill to hear so many repeats.

  2. All of this Hawk & a Hacksaw hatred is about what I expected, but if you like Beirut/Kocani Orkestar/Neutral Milk Hotel, I would give them a shot. I have never seen them live, so maybe they are terrible, but on record, they are one my favorite bands. You just can't expect guitars and typical song structures.

Not trying to hate on them, but they literally sounded no different than John Candy's Polka Band in Home Alone.

At times, it seemed like it was 4 people up there who had never played together, or they were playing completely different songs and trying to make it sound good.

I've also never in all my life heard an opening band bitch at the crowd like they have

One of my friends also thought they were the house music playing and not the opening band. Not a good sign.

  3. I gotta know -- how was the opener? About how long did they play?

They were absolutely awful. One of the worst opening bands I've ever seen in my day. I could've easily picked a local Milwaukee band that would've been much, much better than a tuba, a trumpet, an accordian and a violin. Most of the songs sounded like a polka band that you could see 5 nights a week in Green Bay. Add to the fact that the accordian guy was telling people to get off their phones and it was just terrible. It lasted about 40 minutes but I only watched about 20 of it.

  4. Looking for one or a pair of tickets to the Pabst Theatre shows.

These are a couple days after my birthday, so I'm hoping that someone can help me out.

Also, I would be most definitely willing to throw someone a 420 tip so that you can have a groovy show.

The secret of buying tickets online is never give up.

I was on right away and didn't get anything

I logged in and out multiple times

I refreshed the page possibly hundreds of times

At 10:12 I got two reserved. Four of my five of my friends trying all got tickets. One friend got 4 tickets row D, I'm jealous. Mine are row T, at least I got seats though.
