Well a big sigh of relief.  We got in for nights 1, 5, & 6.  It's not the same as getting the full 6 night package - which I would have preferred and loved for the original residency. But it is the bare minimum.  At least we didn't get shut out - like for the incredible shrinking residency. 

Is there going to be a way to buy tickets for all 6 nights?  We were able to buy the 5 night package for the last residency and hope to do the same thing this time!

We aren't having any luck with either night! Are both nights sold out already? Or was this a small pre-sale?

But there are still Gold Circle tickets available!

I went to all 5 nights and I loved them all, but I need a break, I'm tired. On the whole it was a wonderful experience and I will do it again if given the chance. I just hope it's in the spring of next year - the cold in line and then the heat of the Riv, and the cold waiting for the train was the worst thing about it.

Things I will do differently next year -

- take more time off work - trying to work and fit in shows nearly killed me

- always get a railing to stand behind - the rails near the bars were life savers, no fighting the crowd for drinks

- make friends more with the people around me - I tend to be too shy to introduce myself

This will be something I will remember the rest of my life and if I hadn't gone I would have always regretted it.

Just wondering if Wilco is coming on at 7:30 like the ticket says? When do the doors open, have there been massive lines? When do the shows wrap-up?

 

So many questions.

The curfew for the Monday-Wednesday shows will be 10:30 - that's why the shows are starting an hour earlier.

Where we were standing - there was a low rumbling of talking all night, especially after the "intermission" when the left ramp to the floor filled up. I just don't understand why someone would pay for a ticket and make there way towards the front, if you have no intention of listening to the show. Behind me the whole show was a "couple" the woman has no interest in the music at all and preferred to talk to her boyfriend, make him run to the bar, and try to make out with him the whole time.

But the show was incredible and we were surrounded by many cool fans who were there to enjoy show. Hopefully my ears will be un-fuzzied by 8:30 tonight. It's a good thing that we have Sunday off, I think I'm going to need the night off to rest up for the rest of the week.

I don't know if it was scalpers. I think that there was just a huge demand. Everyone I know is psyched to go to all 5 nights.

Not to gloat or anything, but I was able to get 2 passes on each pre-sale. I am lucky enough to have a really high speed connection at work and started refreshing at 9:58. My friends on the other hand are dopes and are lucky that I love them and am willing to charge $561 on my credit card for their passes.
