  1. Unfortunately I suddenly have to work this weekend and can't attend the festival :(

I have one hard ticket, I paid face value for the ticket months ago when they went on sale, I'll take the best offer plus shipping. I'm in NYC so if you live here we can arrange a pick up.

You can email me here: aimk@mac.com

    Thanks!

  2. Forecast is for a high of 23 low of 16 with snow. Have fun waiting outside for 5 hours! I don't think most people will be lining up more than 30 mintues in that weather. Yes the Riv is GA, but if you get there early and can park in the front row of the balcony or on the rail.

Hmmm, good to know what the temps are going to be, I may not end up standing out there so long in that weather. I always feel like if I go to a GA show I can never see anything if I am too far back. I guess I will wait and decide when I get to town.

  3. This might be a little off topic, but a few years back Wilco was sued for using the sample on "Poor Places" of the woman who says "yankee hotel foxtrot" from a series of discs called the Conet Project. In the end their record company settled out of court. But the reason they fought it was because basically the recordings were of these myterious numbers stations, which no one really has the rights to. In the end it was settled out of court. It's kind of complicated to explain, but here's a link:

  4. After reading through this thread, and having just seen Wilco again last week, I still can't think of just one line or set of lyrics that I can call my favorite. They all just hit me like a ton of bricks every single time I hear them. Old songs, new songs, it doesn't matter. I think the reason why the band has such a huge folowing/ turn out at their live shows is because to see Jeff and the boys' faces, movements, etc sing these lyrics puts even more meaning behind it. I know that I always love to stand up towards the front at concerts just so I can really see Jeff sing those lyrics.
