Capitals shouldn't have talked smack before the series started. That goes for Boudreau and Ovechkin. Boudreau stated that his team should win the cup this year and Ovechkin went on to say after game 1 how shaky and nervous Halak was and that he knows how to crack him. It looks like Halak is getting the last laugh at the moment. The Caps defense needs to learn how to just play hockey and also keep Cammalleri from scoring goals. Without Poti is a major setback for the Caps though.

Great show. I was on the 1st balcony not far from 'pitt hookah' the thread starter.

 

A couple d-bags were present yelling inappropriate things at inappropriate times. "Shawn thinks you're gay" exclaimed one obviously drug addled degenerate (who went on to clap loudly and randomly throughout the night). I'm a proud Pittsburgh native and he is not representative of our overall crowd for you non-locals that drove in for the show.

 

This is the first show I've caught on this tour (7th overall) and it was the best so far I think. Stage wise I loved the tublar computer controlled incandescent lighting. The lamps during the semi acoustic set were also wonderful.

 

My favorite banter moment was when Jeff read the Dinette gift certificate winner (awesome place BTW) and the song he requested on the website. "....and the song you choose was Impossible Germany......great choice.....like we weren't playing that anyways" or something to that effect.

I'm counting down the days till Solid Sound. Any other Pittsburgher's going?

As soon as I got home from the show last night, I bought a ticket to Solid Sound.

This was the best concert I have ever seen.

Thanks for making my night so special and forcing me not to listen to music a for a while, so I can keep soaking in the surreal show from last night.

I had seats right in front of the soundboard, directly in the middle, and I stood the entire night because I realized I wouldn't be blocking anyones view. It was a great view of the band when every sat down.

I'm lost for words after this show. Truly amazing. I don't want to hear any more music for a while and just let this soak in for a long time.

I have a feeling this show will start right at 8 tonight. Pittsburgh always has strict curfew.

To those who are trying to get tickets for Pittsburgh, ticketmaster has seats popping up right now.

I find it likely they played Spiders after Poor Places, but any actual evidence of HTFL?

I was only going with HTFL because of last night when they played it after spiders.
