actually it's quite a bit less than 6 grand. That's just the retail, which is not what anyone actually pays for stuff like this.

Last week, Wilco was in Bend, Oregon, home of The Breedlove Guitar Company. While in concert they remarked "We're glad to be back in Bend, home of the best acoustic guitars around!"

They say this for two reasons:

1) They are really, really nice guitars made by really, really nice people...... and

2) they are currently finishing a total of 25 Jeff Tweedy Signature Model Guitars identical to the model he plays on stage.

Jeff worked with Breedlove builders to determine woods and the body shape and also lent his artistic eye to help with the inlays on the fingerboard and headstock. The result is a bee-themed pattern that is absolutely gorgeous.

Here in our shop in Louisville, KY, we've had people who've never even heard of Wilco fall in love with these guitars - they are truly fantastic. Of the 25 Tweedy models internationally available, we've sold one (the one Jeff Test drove on this tour) and have just received 2 more in stock right now. We just thought Wilco fans like ourselves would want to be aware of such a cool guitar.
