  1. Yeah asimplecadence is right, there's no way to buy public tickets for either show on tickets.com.... I've got the pre-sale blues

Edit: Yeah I just checked, and there's no listing on ticketbastard either...

Both shows are up on there now.

    Just needed a little patience.

    10AM tomorrow. Good luck everyone.

Edit: Nevermind. They were up there for a minute and now they are gone. It said John Doe with Wilco. Either way, I imagine it'll be on there tomorrow at 10AM.

  2. I've never bought Wilco tickets before (I somehow always miss that they're going to be here until the show is sold out. :(. )... and even when I've tried to buy them, I've always used Ticketmaster... I tried to get presales from wilcoworld today, but no go....

So where is the public onsale? I know it is tomorrow, but where are they being sold from? Maybe I'm completely blind, but I've been trying to figure it out since 10:30 when I gave up on presales... The venue isn't posted on Ticketmaster, or Tickets.com, and the band isn't listed on the 930 club website...

If anyone can help, I'd much appreciate it!

Tickets.com is the only place that sells 9:30 Club tickets. Not sure why you couldn't find it on the website. As for what time they are going on sale...I haven't been able to find that.

  3. They definitely haven't shipped out the tickets. I sent out an email to MusicToday because even though they state they don't ship tickets out until 2 weeks before the event, they normally send them out earlier. But they haven't shipped yet, so we are all just fine.

  4. 9:30 Club had their own pre-sale yesterday morning. Apparently the only way you could have the password is if you subscribe to their print newsletter. It wasn't in any emails they sent out. I wouldn't imagine that their pre-sale was more than a couple of hundred tickets at best.

  5. Some sort of rule or other (fire regulartions?) kept them from letting more than (I think) 12 people stand around in the lobby, so only those foolish enough to have been there for WAY longer than 2 hours got ushered in.

The 930 staff also fed us ginger snaps. They were really terrible ginger snaps, but the thought was lovely.

Letting us in was really just to get us out of the weather -- getting to hear soundcheck was incidental.

Ah, I see. That's pretty cool then. I must've been within the first 20 or so people in line after the group that was let in early. The biggest thing I remember was how cold it was outside and then how odd it was that they had cold air blowing up on the area by the upstairs bar. Didn't make sense. Spectacular show, though.
