I totally loved Tweedy's set at Bristol Rhythm and Reunion. Tweedy seemed in a great mood, and joked around a bit. The band was totally rockin. I had no idea what to expect of them, but they were great. Typical setlist structure of the other 'solo' shows: a big batch of the new songs with the full band, and then just him and the guitar, and then the band coming back out. I was too caught up in the moment to keep a setlist, but the solo acoustic songs were mind blowing. i know he played: -Passenger Side -Pecan Pie -Please tell my brother -New Madrid -I am trying to break your heart -Jesu

yup, it was "so much wine". there are a few videos on youtube. sorry mods, i was unaware that i couldnt post videos on here. Owl and Bear has the show from 8-18-06 where he plays it and says it might be the best song ever written. you can download the whole show here: http://wilcoarchive.com/tweedy%2020060818.flac/ ("so much wine" is the track #6 i believe) -

i'm jealous for anyone in boulder that got to see The Handsome Family as the opening act. I can see how they're not for everyone, but i really dig them. their favorite of mine is also a favorite of Jeff's, that he covers semi frequently, and which he has said 'might be the best song ever written"( from a bootleg from 8-18-06): Moderator edit: link removed; Jeff Tweedy and Wilco do not allow videotaping of shows; Via Chicago doesn't allow links to videos. (i have an mp3 where he says that at the end of it, if anyone is interested) -
i was one of the guys who thanked you as you were leaving. i was in the row right behind you, on the aisle. i saw that the boyfriend character was looking kinda riled up too. and i told my friend beside me that i totally had your back if anything was going to happen. sorry you had to deal with those a-holes, but on behalf of everyone in that section, thanks for saying something to her.

a recording you say??? are you gonna post it somewhere? i would LOVE to hear it. the obnoxious woman was in very front, on the left. she was in the front row of the left orchestra section. she's the one that kept saying 'awesome awesome' when tweedy thought she was saying shut up. and she was the one who was saying that everyone liked "cars". she continuously tried to talk and be the center of attention. i was totally getting upset from a couple rows back.

Thanks for the setlist! it was a great show. the only 'flub' i noticed was during "Gun". he messed up the 2nd or so verse, and gave a smile and kept singing. the crowd was pretty good overall. a lady a couple rows in front of me was totally obnoxious and kept standing and cheering and clapping inappropriately, and was constantly trying to talk to jeff during the first 6 or so songs. a guy behind her asked her to stop, and she apparently got upset and left. thank goodness! highlights for me were "Gun" and "Key to My Heart". I saw Farrar play "Key to My Heart" last year. It was
