  1. For those interested in Red Rocks seating arrangement, per AXS website:

    Reserved Section 1: Rows 2-21 ($65.50/ticket)

    Reserved Section 2: Rows 22-47 ($55.50/ticket)

    General Admission: Rows 47+ ($45.50/ticket)

    Edit to include $/ticket

  2. I've been to Red Rocks three times now in the last couple years and the setup has been something like this-

    Rows 2-25 GA

    Rows 26-60 Reserved

    Rows 61-70 GA

The first and last rows in the place are for folks with disabilities.

There's also a VIP section in from of the soundboard booth that's several rows deep but doesn't go all the way across.

I bought GA and plan to be in line early and get a spot in Row 6 or 7. GA tickets I had in the past had row numbers on them but they didn't mean anything.

I assume it will be set up differently this time then, but I obviously don't know for sure. I snagged actual RESERVED tickets and it shows as Row 6. I had a friend do RESERVED as well and his were in ROW 17. I wasn't able to find a seating chart on FG or AEG Live's website so who knows?

  3. I bought two general admission tickets, but it's looking like I won't be able to make it now. Show is on Saturday, December 15th in Vail, CO.

Tickets are electronic so I can email you the PDF file. $75

Saturday is not yet sold out, but you'll pay close to $100 with all the processing fees.

  4. I'm thinking about flying out to Memphis on a whim and catching the show tomorrow night. Feeling adventurous. I'll be solo so looking for other Wilco fanatics to maybe grab a beer with before and after show.

Anyone going tomorrow that wouldn't mind hanging out with a young'in? I have to catch a few connecting flights and should arrive in Memphis around 2PM. Would stay at a hotel downtown if I end up going.

  5. I was more disappointed than embarrassed last night regarding the crowd. Never felt like they got into it.

I was done on the front row on the far right (if you are looking at the stage) with my GF and I think us and the couple right behind us were the only ones standing in the vicinity. Luckily, we didn't have anyone give us any trouble about it.

I will say one thing though, this venue stepped up their game regarding cameras, camera phones, etc....one usher was all over the place at the front shutting people down.

  7. Because I'm such a procrastinator, I'm in the market for tickets. But before I commit, I had a question and hopefully someone here can answer. Someone is willing to sell me their tickets that are at WILL CALL. They said they will meet me down there and give me the tickets after they pick them up; however, I'm worried that the box office will prevent something like this by scanning the ticket buyer in as he picks up his tickets, thus making the tickets nontransferable.

Is this correct or am I over thinking it?

  8. I apologize if this has been answered before, but what song is Jeff playing in the dressing room at his solo show in IATTBYH? It goes something like "...it's not as half as nice as you, set my sights on one whispering kiss..." I could be wrong about the wording but this has been bugging me ever since I first saw the film and just now decided to do something about it.

Also, is the song somewhere on Owl and Bear or does anyone have an .mp3 they can send this way? Thanks for the help!

  9. So I just tried to get Wilco tickets at 9:58 for the Madison show, and they told me it was sold out at 10 am, which seems a bit weird

Yeah I was refreshing the page at about 9:50 and it came up about 9:56-57 and the tickets it gave me were way back in section Q in the orchestra which I thought was ridiculous given that I figured I was on there before the first 500 seats were sold. I'll be selling these in hopes that I can get closer although I hate getting scalped.

  10. Pieholden, I disagree with just about everything you said after your opening remarks. Tweedy interacting with the crowd is what makes the show that much more enjoyable. And I hate how so called fans point out that things were better back in the "glory days". Fuck that, I'm just glad Wilco is gaining popularity. Period. I don't care if the crowd is not what it used to be. The place was rockin' last night and it was nice to see a capacity crowd come out and hear one of the best bands around.
