Freedy Johnston at Shank Hall. Maybe 20 people there. Old bearded gentleman walks in about 3 songs in and sits at table near stage. Takes a foot long sub out of this Subway bag and starts eating it. Holds up one of Freedy's CD's and says, "I get laid to this CD." Freedy just kept playing.
Richard Thompson at The M Shop in Ames, Iowa. Small place and we were literally 5 feet from the R.T. Great show. He starts talking about Fairport Convention, something like, "I used to be in his band and we put out a few albums." And some guy behind us stands up and says , "like these" and holds up 3 or 4 Fairport Convention albums. Richard Thompson looked at the guy like WTF is with this guy.

Lakefront Brewery tour is the best. Harley Davidson museum is pretty cool.
Art Museum and Discovery World along the lakefront are nice. Couple restaurants off the beaten path but near downtown, Crazy Water or Meritage.
Sobelman's is a good place for a burger. Milwaukee has a nice zoo. Koz's mini bowl would be a good place to get the local flavor. recently rated one of the best bars in America and truly a Wisconsin place. (not sure how much flavor you're looking to introduce to the 5 month old)

these have been sold. I didn't know how to delete the whole thing

seeing them for the first time Tuesday in Milwaukee.
Then Pavement one week later. Can't wait

I wouldn't say I don't like the Beatles but I just don't find myself listening to them much. I felt like I should own Abbey Road, The White Album, Revolver, Rubber Soul, and Sgt Pepper's so I got them all but I listen to the Rolling Stones and The Who much much more. Let it Bleed, Beggar's Banquet, and Exile are all things I still listen to regularly. And I just love listening to live Who.

Seems silly to include the b-sides, so I'll skip that.
Great: BBN
Good: I'll Fight, Deeper Down, One Wing,Country Disappeared, Wilco (The Song)
Meh: Sonny Feeling, You Never Know, You & I, Everlasting Everything, Solitaire,
For me, I'd move One Wing to Great and You and I to Good. Agree with all else. My first post, I feel alive inside
