Anybody know the Rome setlist?

did get the one from the soundboard. it's still some where in the rucksack; just got back from roma. show was pretty good and 2h10min. venue in the middle of nowhere. we asked for the way 6 times and every time it was another 5 min. walk. but that's italy. not much of these day mr. tweedy rants 'cept that he asked some us folks in the front to keep their mouth shut (or sth like that ... will have to check the tape). 1st ever wilco show i was after all these years with reserved seating. not sooo good if you feel like dancing ...

p.s.: when will they ever stop opening with "ashes..." @presents my fave and i feel i could somehow go home after that ...

p.p.s.: there was a big video camera next to the soundboard. no idea what for. maybe for the video displayed in the foyer?

i guess that i'll just won't use the two nakamichi microphones (though i still love their sound) and use my sonic studios dsm 6 instead. and i'll just sneak my stuff in and go stealth like i've done since 1976.

i keep wondering: i have "sweet spot" tickets in the middle of row 15. even if i get my gear in, will the ushers automatically know that i'm entitlded to do what i do? being a big old "shit-ass" i would probably focus on being invisible instead of having a great time. i'd hate to have to explain the taping policy every 5 minutes in rudimentary italian and have all that mess on the tape.

we'll see - maybe they'll record the concert for the roadcase? (still mesmerized by the boston orpheum show)

i shall be seeing the roma concert during my holiday and want to try to tape the show using my old nakamichi mikes into a sony dat, so things will be a little visible.

i contacted the venue to find out about their house policy and mails went back and forth. in the end i still don't know what they are up to.

usually, in case of getting caught, i would simply return the gear to my car. but the car will stay back in germany and the roma hotel is quite far away. on top, italians can be funny at times and unfortunatley my italian is only very basic.

any idea how to find out more? any other suggestions? BIG ta in advance !
