  1. So I am a lonely Pacific Northwest fan in Eugene, OR and Wilco does not come our way all that often. This last Friday, I was waling down the street in Eugene and lo and behold, Jeff Tweedy is waking towards me! I just about shit on the sidewalk but did not make a scene because he was on his cell phone. I even had my limited edition Whole Love cd case in my jacket pocket that I pre-ordered from the fan website and a sharpie getting ready for the show that night in hopes of an autograpgh.

I waited before and after the show and no luck. I REALLY would like to have an autograph on the CD cover to put into a frame along with the awesome Eugene poster from the show. MY question is this...

Has anyone had any luck mailing something to be band to get a signature? Any suggestions on what address to mail to? I would include a letter, self addressed stamped envelope etc... Just wondering if I am wasting my time. I woud rather get a signature from the source rather than buying something random off of E-Bay.

    Any comments are welcome :)

BTW the show in Eugene was AWESOME!

  2. Hey there-

I have two tickets I scored on the Wilco presale. Front row Mezzanine center which is the lower balcony. I got them for my sister in law who "Just Doesn't Understand" how cool Wilco is and she is backing out. Since they are presale, i can only pick them of the day of the show. Price is like $45 plus service fee of $5 or $6 bucks. Below is my conformation order; Let me know! kengel34@hotmail.com

  3. This seems rather early for Sonny Feeling.

Also, I'm sure I'm not the only one who knew it was coming from the few notes that were played during the banter.

Maybe they are trying to get people to stand up and dance!

  4. nice shots there, camelhead. you got the back of my wife's and my heads in your fifth photo.

here are some i took: Wilco, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, PDX, 9 February 2010

i'm hoping i can find a copy of the show - it was a b'day gift to the missus and would be nice to keep for posterity.

Great Photos! I remember the back of you and your wife's head! I also remember your awesome camera. Thanks for the memories. My wife made a CD of the songs from this show put in order they were played. It's a substitue until hopefully the real one shows up.

  5. wish I could say more about this show. I was in the second row in the pit on the right. This girl ran on stage after the show to get the band to sign her poster. Not happening... They told her to wait and took the poster back stage to get sigs from the rest of the band.

  6. Someone already posted the show along with art. Wilco/Tweedy solo is the only show I can tape and anticipate 3 other sources materializing. It's happened so many times to me, I almost feel comfortable not taping. But I still do as the show I don't tape will be the one no one else tapes. So go figure, there's 3 sources for this show. And with better sounding recordings of the literally unplugged songs. Thanks to the other tapers out there!!!

Where are the links to the show? I looked on the Bear page and didn't see the it posted there. Is it verboten to give a link? I'd love to hear Jeff play acoustic.

    Thanks!!
