  1. Tweedy is definitely in some sort of open C tuning. I was fooling around with it last night with this fingering position: 0(12)(11)0(12)0, based off some video from a European festival. That position is close to what he is doing.

     

    First time post here, great forum dedicated to a great band, been to see them twice in Dublin, Ireland so far, hopefully they come back soon.

     

    Anyway, I agree, this song is definitely in C so he must be playing an open chord of some description.

     

    I figured out the chord in standard tuning but you need fingers about a foot long to play it for any reasonable amount of time...

     

    1st Chord

    B - 13th Fret

    G - 8th Fret

    D - 10th Fret

     

    2nd Chord

    B - 13th Fret

    G - 9th Fret

    D - 10th Fret

     

    Perhaps this might work if the high E is tuned to a C - then you could play the chord and have the shrill high note to...
