I'm getting ready to go to Americanarama tomorrow and was just wondering if there was any cool merch at the shows. This is going to be my first time seeing Wilco, so I'd definitely like to get something to remember the show. Also, how much was stuff costing at other shows? Just trying to get an idea of what things are going be like.
There was something from every band @ Toyota Park + a few Items with the Americanarama logo on it. Event posters were $20; t-shirts $35 I believe. For $5 you could get a tote bag with the Americanarama logo or a more colorful window sticker with the same logo. I'll try and post a picture of the logo when I get home; not sure if its been posted here yet or not.

FYI: 21 of the last 22 times Reservations has been played it led into Spiders; it may have been the most predictable song outside of the new songs and I Got You) of an otherwise unpredictable setlist...

Since you could only come up with 4 ways Wilco could get a Shot in the Arm, here's a proper 12 ways Wilco HAS given themselves a shot in the arm:
1. Add a horn section.
2. Play a song at the end of the set without any amplification.
3. Nudie suits. (enough said).
4. Play a cover tune with the opening act.
5. Put bed sheets over their heads and sing Theologians.
6. Play all their album cuts over five nights in one venue.
7. Crowd surf.
8. Channel your inner Pete Townsend.
9. Use an actual alarm clock for the beginning of IATOBYH.
10. Play a punk rock version of Passenger Side.
11. Start your own arts & music festival.
12. Add a fiddle player / professional whistler.
I'm sure there are plenty more examples if people really thought about it. And I can't wait to see what they pull out for the Chicago shows this week!

Here's a scan of the poster and window sticker from Chicago. The sticker says festival of music on top but since it's white on white it doesn't show up well. The tote / shirt had a monotone version of the sticker logo.
Hope you enjoy the show! Get there early to see Richard Thompson if you can, he's totally worth it....
