What it said at the bottom of the page got me excited but now i am confused. But as you said, its too late to announce it now you would think. I have my fingers crossed for 2012 still, and not just sydney and melbourne. Perth too!

Is it true that Wilco are coming to Australia this year?? And most importantly coming to Perth?
