I love all three of their albums, and was lucky enough to see them on the "Blind" tour in California back around '93. They were great. I was completely in love with Harriet Wheeler.

TMBG posted this the other day, I have loved the Smiths since I was a teenager, but listening to the music without Morrissey singing made me realize what a truly amazing guitarist Johnny Marr is. I guess Morrissey's persona overshadowed the music for me. I noticed someone commented on the video basically saying that if the music was released without Morrissey's lyrics, it would have been considered the best of the 80s, and I wholeheartly agree.

I personally love to stop at White Manna when in the area. The burgers and the whole scene is great. 

My husband brought me there for the first time. He used to work in Hackensack many years ago.

Like I said, I am the only person who thinks they are overrated. Maybe if I didn't live in the neighborhood I would feel differently.

I hear you about the onions...my other favorite Hackensack joints are the B & W bakery and Brooklyn Pizza lots of good eats nearby.

Ahhh, the crumb cake. So good.

I'm in Hackensack. Anytime anyone visits me, they stop there. Always a line out the door. I think it's the smell of the onions that puts me off!

5. Atlantic City Boardwalk- Was longest existing boardwalk before Sandy not sure now.

1. Get a ripper at Rutts Hutt in Clifton- Fried hotdog and throw some chilli on

2. Pizza in Hoboken also many great Mozzerella joints...oh Fiore's!

3. A Sandwich at White House Subs in Atlantic City!!

4. Burger at White Manna- Been around since 1944 and was at the Worlds fair

5. Seafood on the Shore...

6. Portugese food in Newark (Largest Portugese residents grouping in America)...YUM YUM!

7. Korean food (Largest group of Korean residents in America!)  in Fort Lee

I think Im the only person who thinks White Manna is overrated.
