  1. So the Mueller Testimony.  I don't think we learned much, but it was interesting to understand some the reasoning and thoughts.

What worries me through this whole thing is this.  It has been proven by Mueller and many others that the Russians tried and successfully interfered with our election in 2016.  Whether there was a coordinated effort or collusion and by whom is a matter of interpretation and opinion.  While congress, the media and the American public seemingly want to point fingers and blame each other.  But the long and short of it a foreign entity meddled in our election.  This is beyond troubling and because of need to blame and deflect we have done nothing to stop it from happening again.

It is clear that there is a winner in this, it is Vlad.

The Russians have always been interfering in out elections - or at least trying to - as has been every other rival foreign power.  Been going on as long as there have been elections.  This is nothing new.

  2. Friday prediction.....they debut a new album by playing it in its entirety.

I think this is a distinct possibility . . based on recent comments from Jeff about how hard he and the band have been "working" lately.

    There is always hope.

  3. "One Wing" remains one of my favorites.

Like the original poster, Wilco (TA) was my first experience with the band, and I played it endlessly.  I dont do that as much anymore as I have fallen further down the Wilco/Tweedy/Loose Fur/Uncle Tupelo/ Golden Smog rabbit hole, but still enjoy certain songs on Wilco (TA).

  5. This is such a great album! When the hell did they find the time to do this? And how could they possibly have kept it such a secret from everyone? Not even any little teaser hints about what was to come. Jesus, I love these guys.

So true.  I was out of internet coverage for a week, came back online yesterday and saw this in my email.  First, I thought it was a joke, then thought how could they do this? I have seen them 3 times in the last year and they have been endlessly touring. No way.  This is a fan's band in every way, shape and form!

I hear a bit of Lou Reed in a few tracks.

     Totally agree.  Its awesome!
