  1. perhaps he's overwhelmed by the whole thing, and starting small......

or maybe he's thinking if he posts the Wilco sets first, noone will listen to Kurt Vile.....

or maybe he's listening to his four different sources for 6/23, and wondering which one to post.....(I'm thinking the shotguns...)

maybe he just needs a nap.

I got your Kurt Vile set too. Havent listened to it yet but am very excited to. Love him. Cant wait for the Kurt Vile/Courtney Barnett album out this fall.

  2.

My buddy bob100 recorded all weekend. He's here camping, so I imagine his recordings will be up on bt.etree tomorrow or early this week.

Thats great news. I figured no audio was coming out until the fest was over. im totally impatient though and have been dying to hear 6/23 and now 6/24 LOL. Major thanks to your friend for taping. I am very excited to hear it.

  3. What a show. Said to my dad and brother right after Being There "what if they play YHF as the encore to the Being There set?" God damn.

There were a ton of tapers there just FYI. You'll have plenty of tapes I'm sure

That's great news! no lie i have been checking dimeadozen and bt.etree.org all day hoping to locate the show... no luck so far:(  Being There is hands down my favorite album and i have been on a huge 97 show kick lately

  4. DO you know if anyone taped the show? I was there last night, and although i have been a fan for 11 years now, this was actually the first time seeing Wilco live (saw Tweedy at the Arts Fest a couple years back). I brought one of my best friends who goes to various shows with me. Told him i got 2 tickets, check out wilco you'll love em. He did a crash course of albums got really into them and said last nights show was one of the best hes ever seen. I have to agree. Its one thing to listen to bootlegs and albums over the years and then actually be at the show. Nels Cline blew me away in person. I figured they would do star wars but i was happy they played like another 1 & 1/2 hours. Venue was perfect for the 2nd encore acoustics. I love Casino Queen acoustic. I agree with earlier reviews, was kinda bummed it was a sit down show, luckily we were at the top the people behind us left and we got down during the 2nd half of the show. But i highly recommend anyone to check out a show at the Benedum. Amazing venue. Let me know if anyone taped (audio or video) of the show. Im dying to get my hands on a copy.
