Super BS for the Brooklyn shows. Sold out in minutes, seconds. Only like last rows available, but barely, just a few singles. Unbelievable. There's no way Ticketmaster is making these tickets available to everyone at the same time. Surely the scalpers and secondary sellers are getting first dibs. Makes you want to leave NYC!! Ticketmaster can kiss my a**!!!!

OMG, I loved this show. Went to Hammerstein the night before and this one was soooo much better. Pot Kettle Black and Theologians!!! What else is there to say?!! One thing I was so curious about, it was hot and humid last night and Jeff had his jacket on the entire show. I could see sweat pouring down his face, why didn't he take his jacket off?! lol

what would be considered a bad Wilco album? Or what would have disappointed people here?

 

Wilco have been consistenlty brilliant for as long as I can remember, and in the time that I have been a fan this is the first time that I have felt disappointed..I'm surprised that there are only a handful of people out there who feel the same

I'm actually having a hard time putting it on to listen to again, I hate being reminded of the dissapointment.

I'm still a huge Wilco fan, seen them many times live and traveled all over to see them. But frakkin A, these songs just don't cut it. I too am surprised that there aren't more disappointed fans out there, does everyone just blindly accept everything they do? hmm. Actually, with me, maybe I OD'd on their last few tours and nothing really could've topped that, maybe anything would've been a letdown.

The album is a big disappointment, and anyone who wants to say otherwise is only lying to themselves...The excitement of the recent live shows and revamped lineup has been replaced by something totally sterile and lifeless..

No self respecting Wilco would've been wishing for an album of substandard versions of lonely 1, far far away and hummingbird etc..The bands superb musicianship can't even save the SBS tunes..There isn't any bite whatsoever to the album, no edge.

This is a definite downturn for Wilco..A shame to admit it, but it's true

I so agree with you. After all those awesome live shows recently and Jeff's solo shows which were outstanding and we get this?!! I just can't believe they came out with this. What were they thinking?!!

Can I just say, if you want to watch an awesome show, I recommend Battlestar Galactica--the best show ever! (the new one on SciFi of course)

I can't think of a better band than Wilco right now. Wilco rules!! (Despite the new cd being a little iffy.)

Listened to it twice. Liked it better the second time. Still not thrilled though which is really disappointing. Some things I don't like: Nels, Jeff's singing in a different range, songs sound similar. But I do love Wilco so I will listen to this a zillion times before I give my final opinion. Surprisingly I really like On and On and On, I never really liked that one, but here it sounds great.

He was actually 41 in May, not that you'd ever know it..... that boy sure is a cutie!

Just curious, can someone tell me how old Kraig Johnson is? I saw him here in NYC on Sunday, and I agree, he looks friggin young! So wish I was at that Vic show.
