Lollapalooza is hosting a photo contest where the winner gets to be the "official photographer" for the event. The picture with the most votes wins (you can vote once a day until July 15), so I thought I'd reach out to my fellow Wilco fans and ask for your help. I've decided to use a picture I took of Jeff at a show in Cincinnati back in 2006.
All you have to do is go to: http://www.psxrockshots.com
(I'm fairly sure you have to enter your e-mail address to login/vote, but they won't send you anything)
Go to the gallery, search by date (mine is one of the more recent pictures as of July 3) and look for this picture: Jeff Tweedy Picture
Let's show some love for Wilco! I'd really appreciate your support.
Thanks!

From Monday nights Residency show
Jeff: "We're going to play a few songs from our first album"
(Band puzzled)
Jeff: "Aren't we?"
Band: "No"
Jeff: "I mean we're going to play a song from the first album most of your bought"
Crowd: "Boo!"
(Band plays Jesus Etc)
Enough said.
You know what *I* hate? People that go on a message board, make a sweeping generalization like this, then disappear and never defend themselves.

tonight was probably my least favorite night, but still better than any other Wilco show i'd seen before these ones.
Really?! Friday was my favorite so far, but Tuesday has now taken the honors. One more show... I don't want this to end.

A gig at Millenium park would be nice and free.

It wouldn't be free. At least, I doubt it would be. I saw Tori Amos there a few years ago and you had to buy tickets (pavilion or lawn).

I saw Jeff and the rest of the Tweedy clan at Feed a couple of weeks ago. I was sitting at the table next to them, but didn't want to say anything. It just didn't seem right since he was eating with his wife and kids.

Sorry if this has already been posted (I couldn't find it anywhere), but according to Jim DeRogatis at the Sun-Times, Wilco is expected to announce a summer show at none other than the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park.
That could be amazing.
For those of you can't access the article, it's all about Lollapalooza (and the Chicago summer concerts), and Wilco is only mentioned in the very last line.

Would someone be kind enough to let me join in on the fun? My computer crapped out every time I tried to listen to it on Saturday night. Many thanks in advance.

Don't take your photo down because of me. Everyone should have a chance to win... just as long as it's me.
