  1. It looks about 7-8,000 so I'd say it probably could. I saw them at Koka Booth Ampitheatre in Cary, NC and that looked ridiculously packed so I don't know.

It's a great venue. My favorite outdoor space in the DC area.

Capacity is ~6700 and this is one of the nicer details about the place:

Patrons are permitted to bring in food and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in any type container except kegs. Patrons cannot bring any food or drink into the seated area except bottled water, but can eat and drink in picnic areas and on the lawn.

  3. You should definitely get your tickets in time. With musictoday you should have them 2 weeks before the show. I don't think anyone else has started to receive preorder tickets.

If it's assigned seating people will be standing. Jeff will tell them that they're at a rock show if they aren't. But no one will try to infringe on your seat area and/or rush anywhere.

Bring the camera. With good seats it's your responsibility to get great shots and share them after the show. :D

Oh, and while the band usually bears with and IMO gives a little to much attention to individuals that call out, I've never seen a request have much of a difference. I've heard Jeff say, "yeah we'll get to it," but as far as I know they stick to their nightly setlists...

  4. While IATTBYH offered some insight into the unraveling of their relationship, I don't think it's fair for any of us to use it as our basis for understanding what happened. It was probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Watching their dialogue in the movie makes me nauseous and made me sort of happy to see him go.

    Oh, and Nels is better.

  5. Fixed it for ya. /Jeff

I wish they'd kept the original live arrangement for What Light, or maybe it's just that it sounds so pasteurized on the record in comparison to those few early live performances. Oh well. Not the worst choice (that would have been Shake It Off, lol at the people advocating that one) but it would have been nice to see them do a more uptempo song.

Oh Thanks. ;) Yeah, it wasn't a crowd mover. For the 90%+ that weren't there for Wilco, I'd say it didn't make too much of a mark. While mellow, it was played BEAUTIFULLY, I may not have teed off with it though.

I was in the 2nd row (lower level) on the right.
