So, instead of having a system that's capable of handling load, they direct the load away from their actual ticket server with this waiting room page... real pro set-up.
I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Ticketmaster.

There's no way it should cost $16 to ship one record to Canada via regular USPS service. Also, a fixie without toe clips?

Hey Via Chicago... long time, no see.
Before the show, I was of the mind that I would have rather shelled out some cash to see Wilco with Wilco fans, but for a group of people that were probably mostly there just to be there, the crowd was wonderful and the atmosphere was great.

so... what do you all think?
my brief summation is: awesome, as usual.
-
LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends
LCD Soundsystem - Someone Great
MIA w. Bun B and Rich Boy - Paper Planes (Street Mix)
UGK feat. Outkast - Int'l Players Anthem
Jim James & Calexico - Goin' to Acapulco (Dylan... obviously)

i only voted for Wendy's because of the appalling lack of a "Jack in the Box" option.
-
It's doubly shameful, because Liz and the guys are really sweet people.
-

No, not against a random moron on a message board, but against the people that moron would elect to office.
he's "liberal" - which is a misnomer the way it's used in America - who exactly are you going to vote for?... in fact, that's sort of his point. that the Republicans are evil but the Democrats have no backbone. you should be more angry about that than the fact that some guy on a message board used the word "pussy" and pointed out the obvious.

How about an endless supply of visable cleavage!
seriously............ the freedom to travel anywhere I want - whenever I want!
...except Cuba.
sorry.
i dig that your fine nation invented hip hop (amongst other things)

precisely what i was thinking. i keep reading rumblings about new, private trackers that are based on the oink code going live sometime next week.

Kid A is one of my absolute favourite records, but I'd still suggest OK Computer as a starting point.

wow
not a big fan of Antony, but his cover of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" is stunning...
I agree 100% with this statement.
I think the Jim James/Calexico one is still my favourite though.

if it's public wouldn't it essentially be what the Pirate Bay is now?
-
now if they could just do something about their asshole DA

I don't know if any of you care but this is a new site hosting a lot of Daily Show videos.
I think I read that it's actually all eight seasons in full!
but i have no speakers at work.

I agree with the haters on this Sufjan cover, but he does a mean rendition of your national anthem.
-
how can a personal preference be bull crap?
-
of the four, the Jim James/Calexico one was the only one that really floored me, and I'm not that huge on MMJ.

boo for no Testament to Youth in Verse.

He played guitar on a song that he wasn't singing here (which I, of course, can't remember now)... for non-Destroyer obsessives I'm sure that doesn't sound impressive, but as people have alluded to, usually he only plays beer.

I've seen Pearl Jam in a few (relatively) small places, but the only shows that come to mind that were sort of historically important are Sleater-Kinney's last two shows.

A Day in the Life

I think my favourite is the one with the characters from the kids TV show, Rainbow
Western N. American tour 2012

I finally got in and got two tix for Vancouver. I thought the site was going to bomb on me a couple of times. To be honest, even with the confirmation email, I'm sort of sketched out.
