Jimbo Jones
The band put on an amazing farewell performance in NYC last night. It was high energy in spite of the oppressive heat. They played two encores because the crowd didn't want it to end. The setlist was excellent and drew from all of their records (except the s/t debut) with an emphasis on The Woods and Dig Me Out. The crowd was very into the show and the band definitely fed off of that. It was an emotional night and S-K showed again why they are one of the best bands of their generation. They will be sorely missed. Here's a link to some pictures of the show and the setlist. Brooklyn Vegan Edited August 3, 2006 by Jimbo Jones

LouisvilleGreg
Farewell, farewell to one of the most underrated bands and most awesome live bands of the past decade. You will be sorely missed.
TheMaker
Underrated? Uh, no. Overrated? Uh, yeah. Their last two records were great, I'll say that. A shame they've decided to pack it in just as they're hitting a stride.
street spirit
You can probably make an argument for the Woods, but Dig Me Out is loads better than One Beat.
