groovingdan
I know Glen uses a really weird setup for his solo gigs. If you like that you might like this site
groselicain
You can't fret any of those strings other than the ones on the regular neck, so what's the big deal on this thing? Is it like a sitar, with sympathetic strings or something? And when did Metheny ever play that thing? I have to hear what it sounds like... thanks for posting this, though.... it gave me a link to a good digeridoo store, which i had been looking for
Theobscureart
I saw Metheny play this on TV. I think it was on Sessions at West 54th. Yeah, he played the fretless necks open (obviously) as sympathetic accompaniment. When someone of his caliber plays this thing, it is far from a gimick... The sound is virtuistic, haunting, and friggin' neato-torpedo.
