Somnambulist
I was browsing Amazon the other day and noticed the 1998 film Safe Men is finally out on DVD. I have a previously viewed VHS but am looking forward to purchasing the DVD. People either love or hate this movie but it's John Hamburg's directorial debut. Hamburg wrote/co-wrote Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Along Came Polly, etc. It's got a great cast, Paul Giamatti (Veal Chop) in one of his funniest roles; Michael Lerner as Big Fat Bernie Gayle, Providence Jewish Mafia; Sam Rockwell and Steve Zahn, Mark "Sweet 'Stache" Ruffalo; and Peter Dinklage as Harvey Fierstein's hired muscle. Again, it's one of those movies that either really hits your funny bone or you can't stand but for those of you that have Netflix or other similar services, check it out. Very quoteable as well. Sir Stewart
With that guy's writing credits, how the hell is Ben Stiller not in this one?
Somnambulist
Safe Men was the one that attracted Stiller to Hamburg. Stiller saw the film, loved it and wanted to work with Hamburg, thus their partnership.
