I'm pretty sure that they are based out of LA now, but my band played with them once when they were living in Madison, WI. I recently dug out some of thier old EPs and started listening to them again. They are really good. I'm suprised that they are not more popular than they are. For those of you not familiar. Helen Stellar has kind of a spacey "shoe gazer" vibe. Not sure what they are up to these days.....But they should put out a new album! Maybe even come back to Madison to record at Smart Studios again! Check out the link to thier MySpace page below. They have some pretty good tunes posted on it.
