LouieB Posted February 22, 2007 Share Posted February 22, 2007 This is another one of those threads I don't expect anyone to either read or respond to, but I am going to write it anyway. Periodically we talk about Ike Reilly here and he is playing an acoustic show this Saturday at Martyrs in Chicago. What makes this special is that I am dragging an old friend to this show named Joe. Joe actually worked with (M)Ike back in the day when they were both doormen at the Park Hyatt on the Gold Coast in Chicago. In those days they were fast friends, but parted ways over the years and have barely been in touch since. Joe rarely goes out and even less rarely goes to clubs so I convinced him to drive in from Deerfield to see his old buddy Mike for old times sake. Frankly this could be a pretty interesting show. Ike continues to soldier on right into middle age and has a reasonably good career in music going on. So this will be a bit of a reunion of sorts. LouieB Quote Link to post Share on other sites
