socbret
Damn, Blitzen Trapper is really good live. Too bad there weren't more people there (somewhere between 30-40), but with pitchforks "Best New Music" help and their live show, I could see them blowing up. David Vandervelde was pretty good, sort of comes off as a poor man's Ryan Adams though. I was mostly excited to see him because of his ties to Jay Bennett, apperantly a lot of the same instruments heard on Being There-YHF are on his records. Anyone else make it out? DrNo
I really, really wanted to go to this, but I was feeling under the weather. I've seen Vandervelde once--I'd say he's more of a poor man's Marc Bolan than a poor man's Ryan Adams, but to each his own... Was Blitzen Trapper selling any of their earlier releases?
