mjm71
Hey there, Anyone here ever heard of or been to the Rothbury Music Festival in Rothbury, MI? I don't know much about it, but an interesting line-up is shaping up (see the link below). I was just wondering if there was any info out there regarding: the scene, duration of performances, quality of venues, quality of camping, etc. http://www.rothburyfestival.com/festival/artists.php -thanks in advance, marty

mjm71
Thanks ppizzle. That was certainly a detailed response, however, it doesn't really answer the questions: How many stages are there? (e.g. at Bonnaroo there are two large concert fields, two big tents, two smaller, but still big tents, and numerous other stages). How much time to the artists get? (e.g. at Bonnaroo Wilco got about 90 minutes). How many people attend this thing? (a rough estimate would be fine - more than 50K?)What is the scene like? (Are there Nazi-like security guards sneaking through the camp ground / concert venues or is it live-and-let-live?). I'm trying to decide if I want to shell out $200 for this fest. It's close to home (chicago) and although I don't much care for DMB, there are several acts I'd like to see (again) - Primus, Goggol Bordello, Zappa Plays Zappa, Black Keys, Tea :eaf Green, Beth Orton... to name a few. Any additional info would be greatly appreciated. -later,marty
