Ultraviolet Hippopotamus: keep an eye and an ear out for em'

For those of you not familiar with Ultraviolet Hippotamus, we are a Midwest band heavily influenced by Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa and The New Deal. But our strength is in our originals with witty, meaningful lyrics and tight, musical chops. We're creeping up on 100 shows this year and are looking ahead to a busy fall schedule including a show opening for Garaj Mahal and a Disco Biscuits after party both at Papa Petes in Kalamazoo. We are also making our way back to Colorado for 2 weeks and going much deeper into the mountains this time. We're probably gonna have more Midwest and Colorado dates pop up here in the next week or two, so check out our website, myspace or facebook pages for any and all updates.
