  1. I yelled for "Windfall" and for "Route" before. He was, to put it midly, a bit befuddled. That was until other people started yelling for Uncle Tupelo stuff, so the person next to me and I started to combine songs. We were yelling for songs like "Via Medicine Hat", "I am trying to break your 6-string belief", and "Heavy Metal Whiskey Bottle." He smiled at that one.

  2. Age - 42

Occupation - Front Line Leader with a large insurance company headquartered in Louisville, KY

    I live near Madison, WI

I dig Wilco, UT, Son Volt, Jay Farrar, BRox, Neil Young, Beatles, Monkees, Kate Bush, Sun Kil Moon

I have a scar on an elbow that I broke catching a shoplifter while I was on vacation in Portland, OR, almost twenty years ago.

Well, Jeff did steal his fried chicken, girlfriend, since of humour, dirty white shirt, hat, Sprite, snuff, and air conditioner.

    And Farrar's mail.

Seriously, go to the Farrar board and do a search for comments that Brian Henneman (neverwonagrammy on the board) has said about the book, and about the Farrar-Tweedy relationship. Far more enlightening than the book, and funnier, too. Especially the stories of driving the green van cross country.

  4. I'm The Man Who Loves You

    Standard Tuning

Capo on 1st fret (or not if you prefer)

    (E) All I can see is black and white and white and pink with blades of blue

I couldn't tell if it would bring my heart the way I wanted when I started

    (E) Writing this letter to you

    (B) But if I could you know I would just hold your hand and you'd understand

    (A) I'm the man who (E) loves you

    (E) All I can be is a busy bee of spinning wheels and hands that feel

For stones to throw and feet that run but come back home

    (A) It makes no difference ever known, makes no difference ever known (E) to me

    (B) But if I could you know I would just hold your hand and you'd understand

    (A) I'm the man who (E) loves you

    E A E B F# A E

I'm the man who (F#) loves you (A)

During the verses you should alternate between E and E7

During the last "I'm the man who loves you" you can do a little riff up the D string

    The B is played 133100

I'm not sure if this is the live version being referred to, but this is what I play

    It's off the altcountry site

Tweedy plays the lead with a capo on the first fret. The others are in standard.

  6. I'm sorry to say that "Gun" has already been claimed, but was mistakenly listed on the Wilco Tribute #3 list. Sorry. Is there another song you'd like to do? "Wait Up" is open.....or maybe a Tweedy-sung Golden Smog song? I don't think "Pecan Pie" has been claimed yet....

Let me know, and I promise to list you promptly. B)

We'll either do "The Long Cut" or "Wait Up." I'll need to run through them tonight and see.
