Hi, its Dan from nyctaper. I had no luck with the great ticketmaster scam of 2011, and now need a single ticket for both nights of the Summerstage shows, 9/22 and 9/23.
I will be taping and posting recordings of both nights, so if I get in, everyone wins.

Finally got my recording up on the site. The editing of this thing was a major chore given the crowd noise.

I've tried everywhere -- presale, onsale, ticketmaster constantly looking for cancellations, craigslist, friends, connections, twitter, etc. Nothing.

The chatting wasn't as bad as the first night i dont think. I expected some people to be lost in the acoustic set and start chatting, sounded like most of it was coming from the back.
I know NYCTaper and Acidjack couldn't make this show, does anyone know if there were any tapers this second night?
I gave my tickets to a friend who was going to tape the show. I'll talk to him when I get home, but he's really quite reliable. I expect both shows will be up on nyctaper in the next couple of days.

Does anyone know where I can get a recording of the brooklyn show? I saw someone with a mic setup at the show taping it. I got Tanglewood off of bit torrent but I can't find Brooklyn.

I saw Dinosaur Jr. in 1989, and then again last week, and I have to say from my memory that they are TONS better now. I did manage to record the show, and its up for direct http download on my site now too:

I lugged a bunch of equipment up to Westchester for three nights in a row in the middle of the week and then brought the recordings to everyone to download within a few days, along with beautiful photos and reviews, and that's your response? To pick out a few mistakes (one isn't even a mistake -- I'm talking about MY never having seen Outtamind) including a fucking spelling mistake. Wow. Fuck you.
